Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preschool Director to join our team. The Preschool Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and managing a team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a passion for early childhood education.
Duties:
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool
- Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for children
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise preschool staff
- Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum plans that align with educational standards
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance to teachers on individualized instruction
- Manage the preschool budget, including allocating funds for supplies, equipment, and professional development
- Foster positive relationships with parents, addressing any concerns or questions in a timely manner
- Coordinate parent involvement activities and events
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and implement new strategies as needed
Qualifications:
- All ECE Units completed
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within an early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively educate, motivate, and manage a team of educators
- Strategic planning abilities to set goals and objectives for the preschool's growth and development
